Introduced in 2004, the Inspired Energy 2040 range of rechargeable smart Li-Ion battery packs utilize 18650 cells and are designed for applications where size may be a consideration, making it ideal for handheld devices. The NC2040HD34 ( 3S1P ) 10.8V smart lithium ion battery incorporates the standard features that designers and engineers have come to rely on for safety and function, such as SMbus , a pull tab for easy removal and on-pack LCD display for relative SOC indication. The NC 2040 battery pack can perform at -20°C for low temperature applications, as the low internal impedance enable the cells to deliver good capacity and discharge current. (Note, in low temperature applications, we recommend testing the device at temperature to validate performance).

CH-series chargers are recommended for these batteries. NC2040 10.8V smart liIon batteries can be customized to meet unique specifications. SHA-1 secure handshake, custom label, custom firmware and additional performance options are available for OEM applications.
